Kia launched the Sonet on 15 March, 2023.
Variants:
The compact SUV is broadly offered in seven trims – HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+, and X-Line.

Exterior:
The Kia Sonet has retained most of the styling elements from its predecessor. The updated model is available in seven monotone colour options – Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Glacier White Pearl, Clear White, Imperial Blue (new), and Sparkling Silver (new). Additionally, the vehicle is also available in two dual-tone colour options – Interest Red with Aurora Black Pearl and Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl.
For freshness, this compact SUV now gets a new Sonet logo across all variants and a Kia Connect logo in select variants – HTX+ and GTX+.
Interior:
Based on the variant, the Sonet now offers semi-leatherette seats with white stitching and a 4.2-inch colour instrument cluster. The standard feature list now includes side airbags, Highline TPMS, and a rear seatback folding knob. Most of the other interior styling elements have been retained from the outgoing model. Furthermore, select Sonet variants offer curtain airbags, ESC, VSM, BA, and HAC.
The Kia Sonet is a five-seater compact SUV.
Engine and specifications:
Mechanically, the Kia Sonet is powered by a BS6 2-compliant, 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine mated with a five-speed manual transmission, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with six-speed iMT or a seven-speed DCT, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a six-speed automatic or the newly introduced six-speed iMT gearbox.

My Sonet HTE 1.5 crossed 12k km in 1 year. Overall I am very much happy with my beast. Performance of this car is excellent with very much refined and punchy petrol engine. High-speed stability is brilliant with superior handling given. Its an excellent cruiser through highway. I did have lot of drives through ghat section where its pretty easy to handle the car in hairpin curves and broken bad patches. 20.5 gc makes difference here. Suspension of the car is little stiff but its good only. Never had any kind of discomfort through broken/ bad roads. I would say long drives were very much comfortable in my Sonet. I really love features Ventilated seats, air purifier, hill hold assist for 3 seconds, voice commands etc.. but really disappointed that they haven't given heads up display .Safety features wise its really good with 6 airbags given and features like traction control etc are very helpful. Bose audio sound quality is really good but its a big let down that android auto connectivity is not wireless. Come on KIA .Mileage of the car is pretty descent but some times noticed drop in mileage especially frequent breaking slowing conditions

Kia has launched the Aurochs Edition of the Sonet in India with prices starting from Rs. 11.85 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition is based on the HTX variant and sits between the HTX and HTX+ trims.
The engine meet RDE requirements and are E20 fuel compliant
Last month, Kia had announced that it would increase prices across the model range from January 2023. We have now got our hands on the updated prices of all Kia models, where the quantum of the price rise goes all the way up to Rs 1 lakh.
The updates will arrive on Kia's fourth anniversary
Kia India has revised the prices of its range in India, including models like Seltos, Carens, and Sonet. The price revision came into effect with the BS6 Phase 2 update for the powertrains of the vehicles.
