About Tata Safari

Summary

Tata has reintroduced the Safari name with a new SUV that is built on Land Rover’s D8 platform. The Safari is available in several different variants along with an Adventure and Dark special editions. The Safari is offered in five colours - Royale Blue, Tropical Mist, Daytona Grey, Oberon Black, Orcus White and Tropical Mist Adventure.

Exterior

The Safari looks similar to the Harrier, but it is bigger to accommodate more passengers. This SUV features six and seven-seat options. Similarly, the six-seat variant gets captain seats in the second row. Additionally, it comes with projector headlights and fog lamps with a cornering function. The DRLs also work as turn signals. It features 18-inch machine-cut alloy wheels in some top-spec variants. This Safari comes with cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, driving modes automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, hill hold control.

Interior

The Safari gets a two-tone themed cabin and also features Ashwood coloured dashboard. There is a 10.24-inch infotainment touchscreen system with iRA connect feature and it also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the other hand, the instrument cluster has a seven-inch digital display. Additionally, the cabin also gets the electric assist for the driver seat, leather-wrapped multifunctional steering wheel, leather upholstery for seats and a nine-speaker JBL sound system. The third row also has a charging port, air-con vents and a cup holder. Comes with an anti-lock braking system, all four discs brakes etc.

Powertrain

This SUV gets a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that is BS6 Phase 2 and E20 fuel compliant and is mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine makes 168bhp at 3,750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2,500rpm.

What Can Improve
seats must be electrical movements, sunroof, ground clearance improve but all height must be less,, bumbers must be strong, back door stepany move and put in to dicky, diccy improvement like new other suv nissan xtrain etc.
shocker are good but put electricly control system while turning, during driving we have to care extra
